*Now Limited Opening*

Great News! I am now able to offer limited appointments face to face at my clinic. Please note that social distancing requirements are met wherever possible and that clients and myself are required to wear face masks and follow all appropriate infection control procedures.

Get in touch if you would like to book - from 4th July I am no longer restricted to urgent care and high need. I am really looking forward to seeing you all.

I am still able to provide an online service for existing and new clients until lockdown is completely lifted. These include acupressure tuition and nutritional and lifestyle advice. Please contact me direct for details.

Treat the whole person, not just the symptoms

I'm a qualified acupuncturist and naturopath and a member of the BAcC. I will usually include recommendations concerning lifestyle factors and diet aimed at improving symptoms and health during treatment sessions.

I also use additional therapies such as cupping and gua sha where necessary.

Acupuncture is amazing. It can help a huge variety of problems, from physical problems, such as back pain and  sciatica, to emotional ones, such as irritability and anxiety. It treats the whole person and not just the symptoms as it aims to find the cause. The treatment given for the same condition in several people can be very different because it can be caused for different reasons.

I became interested in studying acupuncture after it helped me with some issues that no one else seemed interested in or could help with. And with each treatment I wanted to know why it helped whereas other treatments had not. I come from a scientific background and so was constantly questioning the theories behind Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis. I believe that they do have rational explanation in scientific terms, but this is not widely publicised.

What I aim to do is to get to the root of a problem. Sometimes there is a quick fix, and sometimes there isn't, but I hope to make a difference.

I'm based in Charlton Hayes/Patchway, north Bristol, close to the old Filton Airfield site. I have a range of available clinic times so please get in touch to find out how I can help you and when. Most of my clients rebook during their appointment, so my online booking system really was proving too time-consuming. The quickest way to get more information or to book an appointment is to give me a ring or send me a text.

I look forward to hearing from you.
